Statment of Purpose
Many great minds throughout the
ages have dreamt of creating machines that could perform calculations and
solve complex problems. Although many have been involved in the evolution
of computer technology, and many machines have come and gone, there are those
who stand out as exceptional, remarkable and pivotal in the advances of this
exciting field. It is the purpose of the RE·PC Computer Museum to
provide an overview of the history of computers and those individuals, companies
and machines that have had a major impact on a technology that is unparalleled
in human history.
At our Seattle Store, we have a small
but representative computer museum just off our sales floor. If you
